A "Berry" Fruitful Day,UNTIL. . . . .

We opened the jam to the taste!! YUK......it wasn't even edible, even though we followed the directions to the letter! What a disappointment. We have no idea what we did wrong! Oh well, I guess there's a lesson in there somewhere, I'll let you know when I find it! lol. . . . Gotta go now, I'm off to the store to buy some Smucker's ;o)

Yummm, sadly the weather is so weird this year, I am not sure when we will get strawberries. But I am so looking forward to it. Sorry about the jam. I have no idea what happened. I am not a jam expert. xoxoxox Clarice

Hi
The pectin was probably old... you can use them on pancakes and waffles like syrup.

So sorry to hear about your experience. Did the jam simply not set? Was the taste bad? Wishing you much better luck on future attempts.
