Scavenger Hunt (Day 3)
Craft/Sewing Bins

I was so excited when I "found" this toile fabric because I had stashed it away for "another day," and forgotten about it. Please tell me y'all know how that is! Anyway, I wanted to make a simple coverlet for the bottom of our bed and it only took a few minutes to whip up. Eventually I plan to make curtains to match. I'm happy with how it turned out and I think kitty Bailey is, too! I'm off to do some more scavenging.....

Love the look and red is my favorite color. Show us every thing you made. and keep looking around and see what else you can use.

Just gorgeous! I think your kitty likes it too. :0) I know about those fabric stashes, I have a few myself! I only wish I had some of that red toile fabric buried somewhere. I have been to so many fabric stores this month looking for a nice light cotton for napkins. Maybe once I stop looking, I'll see some! LOL

Great job, Susan - what a rewarding feeling that is, huh?! (See, I knew once you got started sewing you'd be amazed at everything you can do! LOL) I love toile and think your room looks very classy! Looking forward to seeing your next projects!

Happy Thursday to you!

That was a very nice find! Don't you love it when you find things right at home like that? The toile looks very pretty on your bed.

Check today's mirror post of mine again if you like. I accidentally published it this morning before I was finished. Now there is a cat in the story ;-)
