For the next three days I will be posting pictures of our home all decorated for Christmas. I'm so glad you could join me!

The Reason For The Season!
Dept. 56 Dickens Village. It's not easy keeping it looking like this ~ remember, we have three cats who want to "visit" the village everyday!! Grrr :o)
I love decorating with greens, berries, and pine cones! They not only look pretty, they also smell wonderful too.
Here are my Christmas bears. The one on the left says, "I'd stop eating chocolate but I'm no quitter!" The one on the right says "I'd rather be naughty!" Now, why in the world do you think I would have bears with those sayings, y'all? lol They just make me smile whenever I walk by them.
Thanks so much for visiting. Tomorrow I will post some more pictures. It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I love your village. Maybe when we finish redoing our house I will actually have room downstairs for a set. I have always wanted one.
Your house is beginning to look very festive.

Verry pretty decorations Mary
Your Christmas village is amazing! I have always wanted to start a collection, but I think that will have to wait until another season of life. ;)
I'm looking forward to the seeing more of your lovely things this week. Thanks so much for your sweet comment on my blog. I am treasuring this special time with my hubby. He'll still be around when the nest is empty someday. :)
Blessings,
Mrs. C
Your decorations are wonderful. I love your nativity set. Is it Willow Tree? Thanks for sharing your home with us. ~Adrienne~
What a wonderful idea, Susan! Your decorations are lovely, what a sweet little village. I'm sure Fern would like visiting it too. ;0) Do you have a secret for keeping your green fresh looking? I didn't do so well with mine last year.
I'm looking forward to your home tour!
Hugs,
Kelli

Your decorating looks lovely, Susan. I really like your village. The family I work for has several villages throughout their home and I always enjoy looking at them.

I love your village, Susan, and I have the same problem with our three cats. The one is trying to teach his brother how easy it is to climb our Christmas tree. Hope this doesn't happen when company comes next week!!!!!!!
I collect the same village. I love it!! Thanks for the tour of your home. It is lovely.
