"To Do" "Ta Da" Tuesday
Floral Topiaries
Here is a craft that combines three things I really love: tea cups, flowers, and pretty ribbon! This took me about 45 min. to put together last night. Once again, everything was bought very, very cheaply and the tea cup I already had. As you know from my blog, Miss Bonnie has quite a collection of tea cups. She has always said that when she gets married she would like to have a bridesmaids tea using all her different cups. To take it one step further she would like to make each girl a topiary using some of her favorite tea cups. How pretty that would look at each girls place setting and I think it would make a wonderful "thank you" gift!

You will need the following materials: tea cup, saucer is optional (I showed my with a paper doiley!) small bunches of flowers (different colors but should be complimentary) 2 styrofoam balls (3") complimentary ribbon, wire for securing ribbon, green moss, and a green stem that has been snipped off of one of the bunches of flowers. You will need your glue gun for this project. See below post for step-by-step directions.

This is a neat idea, and one way to use those little teacups that have no saucers you can find at the thrift store. Very pretty!

How pretty!!!!! You make it sound so easy to do, too! I'll have to give this one a try one day soon.

It's just beautiful!! I love how you used a teacup for the base. I think Miss Bonnie's idea for a bridal teaparty is so nice!!

Ladies, I'm so glad you liked this idea. Next week I plan on doing another "craft" with a tea cup. I am trying to work with what I already have and what fits in with my decor.
