The plate above the phone was given to me by my Grammy. It is from the Royal Coppenhagen collection. It says Mothers Day 1974. I love it for three reasons: my Grammy gave it to me, the picture of the mother tucking in her child and the cobalt blue color. Since that first plate I have been collecting them. The two plates above the door are actually soup plates that were passed down to me by my great, great Aunt. They are the Flow Blue pattern. As you know, yellow is my favorite color and I just love how it mixes with the blues. My kitchen is right off the den and so both rooms have the yellow and blue theme. It is such a happy place to come down to in the morning. I love "cheerful" rooms!! The butcher block table below the phone was made by my husband for our 2nd anniversary. It is now 22 years old!
