Sour Cream Coffeecake Muffins
I got this recipe when I stayed at a wonderful Bed and Breakfast Inn. Every year my daughter and I take a "mother/daughter" trip. It is a time of much bonding, love, and laughter. We had both always wanted to stay at a B&B but had only dreamed of it. Mr. P is a "Holiday Inn" kind of man and had absolutely NO interest in going so he glady waved us off on our merry way. He wants no parts of girly lace, potpourri, a shared table, and dare I say it, NO TV!!
I love to make these muffins on the weekend. They smell so wonderful while baking and they TASTE even better! I made them last weekend and took pics so you could see the end result! Give them a try! YUMMY!

Sour Cream Coffeecake Muffins
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix the above ingredients. Add
2 cups flour
1 tsp. each baking powder and baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Marble the following into the above mixture (with knife) I do this when they are in the muffin tin.
1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 finely chopped pecans or walnuts, 1 tsp Cinnamon.
Bake at 375 degrees in grease muffin tins for 22 minutes. Can drizzle toops with powdered sugar icing if desired.
ENJOY!

We'll be trying these this weekend!

By the way, I completely identify with you in the Techno-challenged department. I'm 50, and it IS a challenge. But I could have never guessed that you were :)

I have previously commented on your blog under the name barbieheart. I now have a blog here, too, and my name is G.L.H.

This looks really good, Susan. And I LOVE B&B's and their recipes they serve for breakfasts, so I'm sure this one is excellent. Thank you so much for sharing it.
