And One Year Later.......

Well, I did it. I did exactly what I dislike so much when other bloggers do it. I fell off the face of the "blogasphere" without so much as a peep. I know how frustrating it is when somebody invites you into their life, and then they just leave you hanging, wondering where they went and what is going on with them. So, if there is anybody out there who still reads my blog, I just want to say how sorry I am that I ended up doing the same thing. I also want to thank y'all so much for all the emails of love and concern that you have sent to me over the past months. They meant so much to me.

It's been over a year since I've updated my blog ~ Facebook seems to be the thing everybody is doing these days, but I still like the comfy, cozy feel of a blog. I wanted to share with y'all one of the reasons why I'm back. Over the weekend I was doing some much needed decluttering, and in the very back of a drawer I found a bag. I stopped what I was doing, sat on the floor, and opened up the contents. Much to my delight, dozens and dozens of beautiful home-made cards, letters, and other little goodies came pouring out! First I let out a squeal of delight, and then I proceeded to read every single one of them. I can't tell you how happy they made me! WHY? Because they were from my dear blogging friends I had met over the years. The happiness was short-lived, because those letters made me realize how much I love and miss y'all. It made me want to start blogging again, wanting to reconnect, and become a part of this wonderful community of kindred spirits. Truth be told, there have been a lot of changes since I last blogged, and I'm sure that's true with y'all, as well. I truly look forward to catching up and reconnecting with you all!
