My Son~My "Hero!"
Just look at what my precious boy found for his Mama! When he called and told me he found it I did the "happy" dance around the room:)
I wish y'all could smell the aroma in my kitchen now ~ pumpkin crunch cake hot out of the oven. It's now officially Autumn at our home place! All is right with the world!!

Hi Susan ~

What would we do without our sons?

I too would love to have your recipe. We love anything with pumpkin...and to think that there is a shortage...and that Fall will be here tomorrow!

Simple blessings!
Hugs ~

Hi Susan:

This is my first time to comment.
I am 52 and have 3 children.
A 25 year old daughter, who is still at home with us. She is such a blessing to our family. (She quite possibly reminds me of your very own Miss Bonnie). Next a 23 year old daughter, married. We had our first grandson last Dec. 13th. I was so excited to read about your new grandson as it paralleled our life here so much.
BUT, she is also having ANOTHER Baby (a girl) the end of Dec. Twelve months apart! I am a busy grandma. (They live 2 blocks from us)

We also have an 11 year old boy - MY big surprise and blessing - the Lord sent to us later in life.

I just chuckled when I saw the cans of pumpkin - I could see my son or my son-in-law doing that for me. My dd and I are shopping this afternoon, and to be sure, I will be on the look-out for Libby's Pumpkin Pie filling, my favorite too.

I live in western NY State. Fall is my favorite season. I was happy to see you are back in the blogging world. I have yet to start a blog, but who knows, maybe next year!
