You know, when you can't walk down a grocery aisle without being tempted with some delicious goody. This is probably the hardest time of the year to watch calories because everywhere you look there is some wonderful morsel just waiting to be eaten. October always brings with it a vast array of tempting gooey and chocolaty treats. Then we have November following right along behind with all those yummy pumpkin pies, mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade stuffing and rolls. Not to be outdone, December brings us Christmas cookies and candy galore! Is your mouth watering yet? What's a girl to do?????
I must admit that I have a big love of chocolate and peanut butter. When joined together those two things are like pure ambrosia to me! Now, I tried my best, I really did, but as I was walking down the aisle today the Reese's peanut butter cups were clearly calling my name. Not wanting to be rude, of course I had to listen;o) LOL Which brings me to the topic of this post . . . . what is your very favorite candy? You know the one, the one that you have a hidden stash of in case of extreme emotional emergenies!! Fess up, y'all . . . . it's just "us girls";o)

Susan, I received your gift today, and I LOVE it! Thank you so much! I've posted about it tonight.
You and Christie could seriously TALK about some "Reecees". That is her all-time favorite candy, too.
I think mine has changed a bit over the years....it used to be butterfinger, then almond joy, but lately......I can't get enough of those little caramel/peanut butter thingies that come out for Halloween. They're the ones wrapped in orange and black wax paper. Oh dear. I don't need to go down the candy isle. ;0)
I LOVE all things chocolate! If I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be... plain M&M's. Those are my weakness. Yum!
I can live with or without chocolate but I have to have my peanutbutter.
Hi I really enjoyed reading your Blog..We love the same author Elizabeth George, I love decorating and Tea cups ( Smile)
Aloha Lorie
Almond Joy bars are my absolute favorite...but that's not to say I would turn down a Twix or York Peppermint Patty! Mmmmmmmmm :)
I am not a big fan of chocolate..can you believe that ...LOL? PLUS---I can't have it while I am nursing.
SOOOO, I would have to say a big jar of Mayonaise would be heaven:)
Enjoy your reeses--they were my Grandfather's favorite too.

Susan, you and I have the same favorite candy! Oh so perfect and yummy! :0) They call me from the grocery aisle too! Hehehe.

This is so funny that you should post this, as I just this very night bought some Reese's, for the first time in a very long time.
My favorite candy is dark chocolates with caramel filling.....
mmmmmmm
:)
Anything with more than 50% cacao in it! The darker the better!
M&M's are my favorite, favorite, favorite!
Do I have a favorite chocolate treat? Probably! I love them all. Reeces often call my name from the rack near the checkstand. If I have to wait in line for more than 30 seconds they seem to jump into my basket! I have my secret place for a stash but it's empty right now. ~Adrienne~
My own favorite is Hershey Kisses, tho' I never turn down a Reese's!
When my daughter went to the UK in college, she stayed with an Irish family one weekend. They thought that chocolate mixed with peanut butter sounded horrendous...she later sent them some Reese's, tho' I don't know if they ever really ate them...
poor things!
Hi Susan, What a timely subjectQ
My favorite is penuche fudge, but a close secondis Werther's soft carmel candy.
I enjoy Elizabeth George also. But my pile of unread books is growning...my life has become busier since I married and moved to the country.
I, absolutely, have a sweet tooth. Snickers, Kit Kats, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Butternut bars...yum!
Hershey's Kisses!! OH MY STARS!!! I could eat an entire bag full all by my little ole self!!!
His,
Mrs. U
