Yes, I'm Still Alive!
Goodness, y'all probably thought I had dropped off the face of the earth!! I have been so incredibly busy with everything that computer time has been at the bottom of my priority list lately. I do have some wonderful news to report; my toe is completely healed!!! Starting tomorrow I am going to be making my backyard "walkabout" everyday;o) Can y'all just imagine the neighbors looking out their windows and seeing a "kooky" lady doing laps around her yard in her sparkly, silver shoes??!!! That's one of the things I love about blogging, I can be totally honest no matter how silly it seems and y'all are always there to "cheer" me on. I was absolutely overwhelmed with all of your best wishes and your broken toe stories ~ they certainly put a smile on my face. What a blessing you all are to me.

We are in the home stretch now. Next week at this time I will be preparing to decorate for the Rehearsal Dinner!! I took a few pictures to show what I've been working on for the tables. Please forgive me for not visiting lately, I promise to make the rounds and get back to "normal" once their vows are taken!! And yes, I will take PLENTY of pictures, I promise!!

Flowers, flowers everywhere!! These are the arrangements I have been working on.

I "set" my dining room table to give you an idea of what the tables will look like at the dinner. I am going to "scatter" a few rose petals amongst the willow green ribbon. There will also be white tablecloths on each table. I made "low" arrangements because they don't get in the way of conversations and I think they will look lovely on the small tables. (4 to a table)

Close up of arrangement.

Floating rose candle

I'll be back!! I miss you all...........

Much love,
Susan P.

I'm so happy you are doing so well, Susan. I was checking in, but figured you were a very busy gal with the wedding just on the horizon! The tables will be so lovely. The roses are just gorgeous, and the floating rose candles are the perfect candle to match.
I walk the perimeter of our yard, and get a few looks too! I'm right there with you in spirit!
Blessings and hugs,
Karen
