Candlelight's Glow
Ah, there is just something about the arrival of the autumn season that makes me want to light all the candles in my home! I think because of darkness descending upon us earlier the glow of the candlelight just gives our homes such a cozy, homey feel. I also love the wonderful scents that this season has to offer us; pumpkin and spice are at the top of my list. As you prepare your home for the new season why don't you take the time to put on some soothing music, light a candle, and even whip up a batch of delicious pumpkin or banana bread. Let's all enjoy and rejoice in this most wonderful time of year!
Don't forget to enter the giveway ~ deadline is Wed. 10pm est.! One of the prizes happens to be my favorite new fall scent!

I still had some candles from last season but I purchased a few tart warmers last week.

They were in a wonderful scent I'd tried in late summer called State Fair (our State Fair is in summer but this is definitely an autumnal scent).

I'm with you, Susan - I really enjoy the pumpkin and spice scents. Cinnamon, apple, sugar cookie - those are all great, too! I had pumpkin spice simmering in my electric potpourri pot when Tammy was over on Saturday and boy, did the house smell wonderful!

Hey Susan, I forgot to mention that wedding picture of your son & daughter-in-love is precious!

All of the fall scents really get me in the mood for the season. Your little display looks so nice!

BTW, Yankee Candle has a buy 1/get 1 half off special right now. All of the 11 autumn scents are included. Unfortunately we don't have a store near us, and I'm too frugal to pay shipping. :)

My favorite candle is Baked Apple Pie by Home Interiors. I also have a banana bread that is wonderful too.

I love Autumn!

A girl after my own heart. I keep music playing in my kitchen year round, and a candle lit as well.
