We're Back!
Miss Bonnie and I are back from our annual Mother/Daughter trip and what a wonderful time of laughter, fun, and bonding we had! I have such a grateful heart, y'all. God has blessed me with such an awesome daughter and I feel so privileged to call her my friend, as well! For a Mom it truly doesn't get better than that!
Some of you have asked me when we started our mother/daughter trips and the answer is when Miss Bonnie was 15. It was really important to me to have a special time that I set aside for just the two of us. It doesn't really matter where we go, the important thing is that we go together. It allows us some wonderful "girl" time and also gives us a great opportunity to share our hearts with one another. Although we do spend a lot of quality time together at home, I just have found that getting away for this "special" time has been very beneficial to our mother/daughter relationship.
I didn't get a lot of pictures but I wanted to share with you pictures of our favorite place that we visited. While on the trip the temperatures were soaring over 100 degrees and I think you will see why we loved this place best! (See pictures in next post)

I'm glad you are back, Dear Susan, and that you and Miss Bonnie had a wonderful trip. It is such a blessing that ya'll have the close relationship that you do. :-) Your pictures of the Christmas shop were great, and Miss Bonnie looks very cute and happy.
Welcome home, Susan! What a blessing to be able to spend time together and make wonderful memories!

I'm so glad you had a good time. I think it's wonderful to have those one on one times. Both of you will have wonderful memories of these times all through your lives.
So glad that you and Miss Bonnie enjoyed a relaxing time together. I can't wait to do something similar with my girls when they're a bit older.
Blessings,
Mrs. C

What an awesome tradition. I know you enjoyed each other's company, and what a special time! I know that since my twins have gotten older, I really enjoy their company as much as anyone else I know! In the future you will both have wonderful memories of these mother/daughter trips!
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Amy
