Home Sweet Home

I'm back home!! These past few weeks of caring for my sweet Mama have been such an incredible privilege and blessing for me. I treasured each moment that we had together and will "tuck" those precious memories away in my heart. I am happy to say that she is doing well and we all look forward to celebrating her 75th birthday in just a few weeks.

As much as I loved having the honor of caring for my Mama I will have to admit that I sure did miss Mr. P. I am happy to report that he did NOT starve while I was away, thanks in part to some wonderful family and friends! As I walked in the door yesterday I was greeted by this most wonderful sign (drawn by Mr. P) on our "message plate!" Y'all, there is indeed NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!

I will announce the name of the winner of the contest on Monday!

Hi Susan, I KNEW I had missed you, but I couldn't remember reading where you had gone or for how long. So, it's good to see you're back. (I've actually been away quite a bit myself.)

Glad your mom is better. I'm sure your husband was glad to have you home again!
