Merry Christmas To All!

As Christmas draws near I am going to be taking a blogging break so I can enjoy all the wonder that this most glorious season has to offer. I pray, dear friends, that each one of you has a most blessed Christmas. Let us all rejoice in the "reason for the season," for Jesus is by far the greatest gift we could ever be given. Rejoice with family and friends over the wonder and joy of it all! With much love~

Hi Susan,

I hope you are enjoying time with family. Christmas is such a special time of year.
You asked what Hello Dolly bars are. They are the seven layer bars. They were called Hello Dolly bars years ago when my mom first got the recipe. It is graham cracker crumbs mixed with melted marg/butter, then choc. chips, nuts, coconut and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk and baked for 30 min. They are really good. I hadn't made them for several years. The recipe originally calls for choc. chips and buterscotch chips but also says any flavors of chips may be used. I used the dark and milk choc. chips. The butterscotch seems to be too intense a flavor. This is long. Sorry,

Merry Christmas!!
