I have said many times that my favorite window in our home is the kitchen window. One of the reasons I love it so much is that I can look out and see all the different varieties of birds that come and visit us. As you can see we have many feeders! Probably my favorite is the finch feeder, those little cuties eat upside down! I also love to see their color change from winter to spring! We also have a lot of cardinals (our state bird) titmice, wrens, juncos, black capped chickadees, blue jays, morning doves and sparrows. They feed everyday like clockwork, eight in the morning and four in the afternoon:)
We also have several birdhouses located throughout our backyard!
Of course the squirrels have to eat, too!
Bailey and Buster also love looking at the birds! They would be more than happy to join them:) LOL

I'd love to have a few more bird feeders in the yard outside our windows. We really enjoy our hummingbird feeder. When it runs empty, the hummingbirds fly up to our window and peek in!
The kitchen is one of my favourite spots in our home as well - for the same reason - it overlooks the garden and birds at our feeders. What beautiful cats you have!! I found your blog through Deb's at homespunliving and will certainly return!

Love the picture of your precious kitties...I've always been a cat lover! I have one dear kitty named Shadow (since he follows me around everywhere I go).
I'm so excited to find out that you are a bird lover too! My birds must be part piggy because they eat all day long! I love my cardinals, morning doves, juncos and blue jays. I hope to get some chickadees and woodpeckers this winter. We see lots of them, along with titmice when we got birding.
Your kitties are so sweet looking. Fern loves to watch the birds just like them!

I LOVE Bailey and Buster! I also feed the visitors the corn husks left from my autumn displays!
