Let Your Voice Be Heard!
I will never forgot the day I turned eighteen. While most teenagers were excited because they could say, "now I can smoke" or "now I can drink," I was saying, "Now I can Vote!" I am not kidding. I have such a vivid memory of stepping into that booth to vote in my first election. I actually got chill bumps on my arms because I felt it was such an honor and privilege to be able to cast my ballot. I am now 48 (thirty years later) and I still get chill bumps! I feel it is not only our right as American citizens but also our duty to step into that booth. No matter what your political affiliation is, please excercise your right to vote and let your voice be heard today!
