"To Do" "Ta Da" Tuesday
September Picture

I did this particular Fall craft because of a very personal reason. During my life I was first a child, then a teacher, and then a Mom. Throughout those times I have always celebrated the different months and seasons. As a child I was the one to make the art that went on the refrigerator, as a teacher I was responsible to see that there was art to "go" on the refrigerator, and as a Mom I had a refrigerator full of seasonal art, poems, and other masterpieces. So what's the problem?? I MISS THAT! My head knows it's September, the beginning of the Fall season, but my heart isn't rejoicing as it should. I want to have some reminders "sprinkled" thoughout my home. I have decided that I will be the one to do the "art" for my refrigerator (so to speak) from now on. Each month I will be searching for a poem that I love that speaks about that certain month or season. I will then make a picture with the poem that I found, decorating it with seasonal ribbon and seasonal items. Everytime I look at it I will rejoice in that particular month and season just as I did as a child, a teacher, and a Mommy:)

This was wonderful. It will be hard for me to when I do not have children to celabrate the seasons with. Hopefully I will still do it just for me. Clarice
