Friday Favorite
Lovely Afternoons
It's a beautiful Autumn (almost!) day here in Virginia. The windows are all open and there is a beautiful gentle breeze that is blowing through the house. I love how the sheer white curtains move "ever so delicately " with the breeze. I can hear a few leaves that have already fallen as they dance across our street.
The tea has been brewed and the pumpkin cranberry bread has been baked. It is time to have a wonderful afternoon tea break!

Pride and Prejudice CD is playing softly in the
the background.

The pumpkin pie candle is burning.

And letters are being written to dear friends across the miles.

Ah, my idea of a perfect afternoon. It really doesn't get much better than this! Please join me tomorrow for a rare Saturday post as I welcome in the autumn season at my Home Place. Hope you can make it:)
