I enjoyed seeing all your fall decor. I took my time and enlarged all the pictures so I could oooohh and aaaahh! Lovely home and really pretty fall decor. I just returned from grocery shopping in pouring rain and I am sitting here eating some chili from Wendy's and for a little dessert, DH and I are going to share a caramel apple. Woo Hoo, I love fall! Enjoyed the tour and I loved having a Saturday post to see at your blog!
I have already decorated my home for fall even though it is still a little warm here in Phoenix. Your autumn open house was so cozy....it really helps me get in the mood even though we still have a few more weeks here in our part of the country before it really begins to FEEL like fall. Really, I truly enjoyed seeing your beautiful home and the obvious love and care you have for it. Thank you for such a nice autumn treat!
Mary, carmel apples?? Mmmm one of my favorite treats of autumn! There is nothing like a good bowl of chili on a damp rainy day:)
Mrs. r, you are welcome anytime!
Dot, if you lived next door to me I would bring a plate over to you:)
Elaine, thank you so much for your kind words, they really warmed my heart! I am very familiar with Phoenix because I used to live in a very small town in AZ called Safford. When we wanted to go clothes shopping we had to go to Tuscon ( all Safford had was a Sears store that sold appliances) and if we really wanted to go to the "big city" and live it up we would go to Phoenix!! LOL What a beautiful city you live in:)
What a lovely home you have. It's funny because my most favorite season is fall, but I never decorate for it past the wreath on the front door and some good smelling candles burning inside. You have inspired me to decorate my mantel tomorrow. Time for a trip to the Dollar Tree!
I do have my blog decorated for fall if you'd like to drop by and visit ;-)
I am so happy you stopped by for a visit! I invite you to join me on my journey as I begin my new life as an empty nester. I feel so blessed because I will be taking this journey alongside my dear husband of 30 years, Mr. P. I am a Mama to two wonderful grown children, and a Nana to the sweetest boy in the world! Homemaking is truly my passion. I love nothing more than to "putter" around my home, trying to find ways to make it a more cozy and comfortable place to be for my family and friends. I am happiest when I have a glue gun in my hand, a pot to stir, bread to bake, flowers to arrange, sheets to hang, candles to light, and smiles to give! Life is indeed good.
