Wednesday Welcome
Our Bedroom
I want to start out by saying the most very, very favorite thing in our bedroom is my husband, Mr. P.;)

I love my Antique French Clock.
You can see Rosie Lamb that I
won in Mrs. Wilt's contest! Mr. P's Highboy

Our four poster bed. Pic. of my great grandmother. Quilt Rack made by Mr. P.'s Dad. My wedding portrait. *The accessories are photographing too dark. They are all mulberry including curtains. Notice the vacuum cord on bottom right pic? I cleaned up for y'all!!
I love this pillow. On the flip side it says "For Worse," with a picture of dirty socks on the floor, toothpaste top off, etc. It reminds us that we have made a commitment for life, good times and bad. On rare occasions I will admit to flipping this pillow over (usually "that" time of month and Mr. P kind of knows it's not the best of days.) LOL

As you can see we have a very small bathroom. We are just happy we don't get ready at the same time in the morning!

Y'all, I had to add this comment after I posted this. When I enlarged the dresser picture I was mortified because I saw all this dust on the front of the dresser drawers! At first I was horrified and thought, "I have to remove that Post, how embarrassing." But after thinking a little bit more I decided it just shows no home is perfect and there are also no "perfect homemakers!" I am a big " top of dresser polisher", sometimes I "forget" the other parts ! LOL But SHHH, please don't tell the fly lady:0)

Amy, I wish I could sew because if I could I think I could sew those pillows and make a LOT of money!LOL

Becky, yes, Mr. P knows now if that side is flipped it's not the best of days for me. Better than being "ouchy" with him! He says sometimes he needs a pillow for me!!!

Mrs. C, thank's so much. You are right, it is so comforting to wake up every morning surrounded by momentos that you love and well as MR.P, of course!!

Terri, thank you! I was so happy to see you are back blogging. I have missed you:)

Oh, Susan, your bedroom is beautiful. Lovely, romantic without being too frilly, just right! The furnishings are gorgeous. Are they cherry wood?

A beautiful bedroom, Susan, and I didn't notice the dust at all. I've been very guilty lately of shirking my dusting obligations, so I am completely sympathetic! :)

hello, this is my first time visiting your blog. It is wonderful to peruse. Your bedroom is just lovely. I love the beautiful embroidered pillow on your bed. Do you remember where you got it? I have searched around and have not found anything similar.
