Gumdrop Wreath
Miss Bonnie made this over the weekend. It took less than an hour and she really enjoyed making it. I would suggest putting newspaper down first because if you don't you will have a lot of sugar to clean up ~ unless of course you just want to lick it up:) lol
Supplies:
Gumdrops
Styrofoam wreath
Toothpicks
Ribbon (optional)
Break toothpicks in half.
Place gumdrop (flat side first) on the broken off end of toothpick.
Place sharp end of toothpick into wreath.
Keep working until . . . .
You get this!
Add a bow and hang!
Edited to Add: Meredith asked about the amount of gumdrops Miss Bonnie used ~ with the 12" wreath she used 4 8 oz. bags of gumdrops. The project took all four bags of gumdrops with maybe one or two to spare. Hmm, I can't imagine what happened to them;)

The gumdrop wreath looks so pretty!
That is just clever. It turned out beautiful!
What a great project for the kids and me to work on together. But then again, we would probably gobble up the gumdrops! :)
Sweet! ;o)
So adorable! Roughly how many gumdrops (or bags of gumdrops?) would you buy if you were making this again?
Meredith
How cute!! I would then be able to grab a handful on the way out the door. Na, it probably wouldn't work for me LOL
Blessings,
Sher
I would love to make one of these, only we live in the tropics, and the ants would have found their Shangrilah. So sad, because it would look awesome in the kids payroom! Hung high, so they couldn't reach *grin*
As my little 4yo John says....I YIKE it! Very pretty and festive.
Take care and have a blessed week!
Hugs,

Very adorable! Love it!
That is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing, I'll be buying some gumdrops tomarrow. My daughter is going to be thrilled to make this with me, if we can keep from eating the candy!!
