Baby Shower
The baby shower was yesterday and I was really pleased with how well it turned out. The "mommy to be" was so excited that it was contagious! Good food, fellowship, and some darling gifts made for a wonderful afternoon.

Jennifer's husband is a firefighter, too, and he was happy to see the little firefighter duck!

On the home front, we will be on official "baby" watch next week. Ashley had to have surgery in the very early months of her pregnancy and as a result her cervix was stitched up. The stitches come out on the 2nd of December and the doctor thinks the baby will come soon after that.

I was in Penneys the other day and saw this shirt and I just had to buy it ~ I plan on wearing it the day Ashley goes into labor:) Although I'm going to be called Nana instead of Grandma, everything that is written on the shirt is exactly the kind of Nana I want to be!!!!

Okay, that's enough blogging now. Now that the shower is over I have to start thinking about Thanksgiving ~ I sure hope y'all are further along with your preparations than I am!!

You are just going to adore being a Nana!! After a day with my two, I tell my daughter that I got all that sweet sugar and there is not a bit left. Praying for a safe delivery!

That's such a cute shirt! And so is the red firefighter duck. I've never seen one of those before. Adorable!

Oh Susan, It was so much *fun* to read your post today.
Thanksgiving day is in your heart and whatever you have to eat will seem like a feast by enjoying the love all around you and your family.
I am "Grammie" now to two little dearies and love, *love*, Love the everyday with them.
God Bless you and your precious little one as he comes to the World.
