The Happy Family
Pictures

Kim asked if I would share some of the pictures from the book that I talked about in my last post so here they are!! The book was written by Nicole (no last name) and pictures are by Corrine Malvern.

When Miss Bonnie finished reading the book she said, "the Mom wore the prettiest outfits." lol I agree, Miss Bonnie. Don't you just love the sweet and simple depiction of everyday family life back then?

I WANT THIS BOOK TOO! It just makes me happy to see the delightful illustrations. I too loved the picture of the mom that Ruthann posted, so I'm glad you remembered, found out more and then shared with all of us! I'll be looking for a copy!
Love you fall decorating! Lovely!
Blessings and lots of hugs,

I adore illustrations of that period; the intense color, the simplicity. And you're right, seems to be such a 'charming' era, doesn't it?
