Friday Show & Tell
A Few Special Old Fashioned Treasures
Miss Bonnie & I love to go to flea markets and antique stores. I have a particular fondness for vintage linens and below are just a few examples!

These are a few of my favorite hankies that I have collected over the years. My favorite one is the blue one in the front.

I fell in love with this dresser scarf because of the beautiful baskets and butterflies on it. I also love the delicate edging that goes around the scarf. I placed it in our guest room because I thought it went so well with the roses/tea theme!
Finally, here is Miss Bonnie modeling a hostess apron! She fell in love with it because it is reversable ~ the side you see now is the entertaining side, when turned over the sheer fabric is hidden and you have a more "practical" apron for baking!
Please join Kelli for the rest of Friday's Show & Tell.

Lovely! Almost looks like you visited my stash of treasures for this show and tell :)
I collect hankies, have all my great-grandmothers aprons, and several embroidered runners.

Thank you for sharing.

My mum used to embroider table cloths etc similar to your dresser scarf. Your Show & Tell things are lovely.

Very pretty! I'm beginning to like the vintage linens as well. I haven't really collected any yet. I have embroidered doilies, they're just not vintage! I love your blog theme! I love purple and snowmen! My snowmen are still out - haven't put them away yet! Would love to get some snow first!

Have a great Friday!

Beautiful handkerchiefs and scarves. It always amazes me that people actually sell such gorgeous handiworks for "pennies". Miss Bonnie looks adorable in her apron! :o)
