As Christmas draws near I am going to be taking a blogging break so I can enjoy all the wonder that this most glorious season has to offer. I pray, dear friends, that each one of you has a most blessed Christmas. Let us all rejoice in the "reason for the season," for Jesus is by far the greatest gift we could ever be given. Much love~ Susan P.

There is something that always strikes me: to see the child Jesus BEFORE Christma's Night. That's because at home all my life he has not been in scene before that day because he hasn't been born yet.
On Christma's Night there is always a procession entering the dinning room in the dark with someone carrying the Child and other carrying a light candle and they arrive to the Nativity and my father is waiting there and he puts the Child in it's proper place and take the candle and say : "Oh lord give us your light", then everyone present files with a little candle on the hand and gets it lighted with the same formula and leaves it in a terracota pot. When it's finished the lights are on and the Bible is read at the passage where the Nativity is described.
Sorry it was so long the description but I could not help doing it! :)
And..there is not Christmas tree, and no presents as they are brought by the there Wise Men on January 6th (Epifany), we live in differente countries but..merry Christmas anyway!
