When my son got married recently he and my precious daughter-in-love blessed me with several wonderful gifts. I am such a lucky Mama! Anyway, one of the gifts was beautiful but I didn't quite know what it was. (Me blushing now;o) I thanked them very much and brought it home and asked my family what they thought it was. Since my son had just gotten married I thought it might be a place to store wedding pictures. Maybe a jewelry pouch? Several more ideas came to mind but I had finally settled on it being a place to store photos. I then just laid it aside awaiting for the wedding photos.
One day my son was over and he said to me, "Mom, why aren't you using the gift Ashley picked out for you?" I told him I was waiting on the wedding pictures so I could put them in. He looked at me and started laughing and then said, "Mom, don't you know what it is?" Now I'm feeling really dumb;o) He said, "It's a handkerchief holder!" It all made sense then. When Ashley was looking for something old for the wedding she asked me if I had any ideas. I quickly brought out my hankie collection for her to pick from to carry on her wedding day. I had them stored haphazardly in my dresser drawer. She is such a thoughtful young lady that she had picked out a most wonderful and appropriate gift for her "clueless" mother-in-love! LOL
Ashley reads my blog and right about now she is probably laughing! ;o)

Susan ~ how very, very fun... and funny! :) (The same thing happened when I won Tammy Times giveaway, and she sent me a coaster. I thought it was a tissue holder. LOL!)

I would never have known what it was either! I was actually looking for a hanky when your gift popped up. Lucky for me, it also had a description with it. ;)
