Welcome Autumn!
In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky.

It's a beautiful day in the state of Virginia. Today I will be busy readying our home for the Autumn season. Oh, how I love this time of year!

I love the precious looking scarecrows. How is your grass so green! Ours is crunchy brown. Maybe you're not in the drought area.
Can't wait to see more of your decorating!

Yay for autumn, my favorite season! The crisp air, the colored leaves, cozy days on the couch under a throw sipping tea and reading a good book... I could do without the dark though, yuck!
