Rehearsal Dinner Dress
So many of you have asked me to share the details of the upcoming wedding of my son so I thought I'd share with you the outfit that I have found for the Rehearsal Dinner. As you know, it is the groom's parents responsibility to host this affair and as you can imagine I have been having fun preparing all the details. We are holding the dinner at a lovely new restaurant located at a marina and will be eating out on the deck which overlooks the river. The weather in the middle of September is very unpredictable so I needed something that was versatile. I settled on this darling polka dot dress (that I can wear if it's stifling hot) or if there is a chill in the air I will add the red bolero sweater. In the next few weeks I will share with you decoration ideas, etc.... Just a little over a month to go!!

You will be gorgeous in your wonderful outfit. When my son was about to be married, a lady who was in her 80's and had raised 4 sons told me this little story. When her 1st son was to be married someone gave her this advice - the mother of the groom should wear beige and keep her mouth shut! She and I had a good laugh about that one. I didn't wear beige and I kept my mouth closed when it was appropriate. I'm sure your rehearsal dinner will be a smashing success. What a great location.
