"Spruced Up" Laundry Room
I'm happy to report that day 5 has come and gone and still NO CLUTTER!! What is this world coming to? LOL Since my laundry room is considerably less messy I thought I would try and spruce things up a bit. Believe it or not, our Maytag washer and dryer were bought 24 years ago ~ those commercials are really true, the Maytag man must be lonely;o) Anyway, I digress, although it is in perfect working condition the outside of the washer and dryer are really showing their age! I thought I would get something to go on top on my dryer to "hide" some of the "yuckies." This is what I ended up with ~ I love these jars because they are functional as well as cute.

I got rid of my tattered clothes basket and got this nice wicker one from Walmart for $3.99. It looks so much nicer. BTW, notice it is EMPTY ~ JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT;O)

Got this new rug to go with my curtains that I already had.(see below) Please overlook the little bit of kitty litter on the rug ~ my boy kitties are a little messy, much to the dismay of Annabelle ( our girl kitty!)

Dusted and tidied up the shelf.

This is what it's all about, isn't it? :o)

Susan, Your laundry room is really lovely! You already know how much I love your window treatment - that fabric is so pretty! I also like the accessories you put in there. Very nice!

Susan, your laundry room is so so cute! I really need to do something with mine. It in the garage, but has some shelves, and a little window.
I use the bulk liquid detergent, but I REALLY like your glass jar ideas.
Thanks for sharing,
Christina

Your laundry room looks nice enough to enjoy working in. :) I'm pretty happy with mine, but the walls are pretty scratched up from our cat and dog. It's their "dining room."

Hi Susan,
I'm catching up around bloggyville this evening and wanted to thank you for your prayers so very much! Things are better today.
You've got the cutest laundry room around! I just love those jars. I've got a couple, and they look so attractive with anything in them. The washday laundry shelf is precious, too!
I had a Maytag washer and dryer that lasted forever. We just replaced them a few years back.

It's wonderful! We live in an apartment complex and have a community laundry room so I can't really do anything with ours, lol. But I sure would if I could! Yours blesses me just looking at it.
