What time is dinner tonight? I'll be right over! It looks wonderful. In the Pacific Northwest we love chicken and dumplings and biscuits but our tea isn't the same as Sweet Tea in the south. I think we missed out on that one! ~Adrienne~
Oh Susan, that is right up my ally! Mom brought us some chicken-n-dumplins' last week when we had finally gotten through the worst part of the virus. They tasted soooo good! And of course, your sweet tea is one of my faves, too! Yep, kindred hearts.
Yummy! I grew up in the south and just ache for "proper" southern cooking. I don't make it as often as I'd like, but to be honest I just don't do it as well as my grandmothers did!! Your biscuits look AMAZING. I have never perfected those!
Yummy ~ that's what I call good eating! :o) I just recently found a recipe online that's like the Cracker Barrel Chicken and Dumplings! Mmmm ~ It has quickly become a family favorite!!
I surely am not from the south, but that Looks delicious! I am sure my family would love that.... I am however and great sweet tea fan and that my dear looks good enough to drink!
enjoying your blog and I am adding it to my list of favorties :)
I am so happy you stopped by for a visit! I invite you to join me on my journey as I begin my new life as an empty nester. I feel so blessed because I will be taking this journey alongside my dear husband of 30 years, Mr. P. I am a Mama to two wonderful grown children, and a Nana to the sweetest boy in the world! Homemaking is truly my passion. I love nothing more than to "putter" around my home, trying to find ways to make it a more cozy and comfortable place to be for my family and friends. I am happiest when I have a glue gun in my hand, a pot to stir, bread to bake, flowers to arrange, sheets to hang, candles to light, and smiles to give! Life is indeed good.

Yum. Thank goodness I just had dinner before I saw the chicken and dumplings. It was my very most favorite dinner when I was little.
Yum and amen (to living in the South, that is)! LOL
Hugs,
Amy
I think I will move south if that dinner will be on my table. Looks so good and I just love chicken and dumplings.
Mmm...that is my kind of meal, Susan! It all looks delicious!!
