Summertime Door

Now that the 4th is over I decided it was time to replace my patriotic wreath with this simple blue basket of yellow, white, and blue flowers! Since the colors are soft and muted I think they give off the effect of "coolness!" Okay y'all, I know I'm just imagining that, but when it's 100 degrees you'll try anything!!

This is so pretty!! And it does look "cool"!!!

That basket is so lovely. I usually have a wreath hanging, but I really, really like the basket!!!! I'm going to keep an eye out for a sweet basket like that one!

Hi Susan,

The basket does look cool and beautiful. I just love it. That isn't a longaberger mail basket painted blue is it? It really is pretty and looks even prettier on your door.

Love the new look at your front door. Very warm in Ohio and we will have to remember this beautiful door when it is 30 degrees out side.

I love the basket. I'm in a blue and yellow phase in my decorating. Not on my door because it's red, but my bedroom, bathroom, laundry and craft room.
