Show And Tell Friday
Wedding Favors
My son is getting married in September and the wedding will be an outside affair. To go along with the outside theme the happy couple is giving little potted pansies as favors to their special guests. I can just imagine them with beautiful pansies inside, can't you? I have 100 flower pots to do so I need to get busy ;o)

Hop on over to Kelli's for more wonderful show and tell posts!

Hats off to you as you tackle this project! Those will be great with pansies inside them. Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. Blessings on all of you as you prepare for the upcoming wedding.

Now that is a unique idea! It is something guests will be able to use and enjoy, not just some trinket to stuff in a box somewhere! Love it! I need to remember this for future weddings!

I did something similar for my parents 50th party several years ago. Their anniv. is 9/05. We painted the pots gold and had plant stakes in them that were seedpackets decorated with pictures of my parents through the years.
My plan was to use pansies but I could not find them for sale anywhere because in East Texas, the fall bedding plants were not out yet.
We ended up with marigolds and they were beautiful and a big hit with the guests. I still think the pansies would of been prettier though.

I am busy with wedding plans too, our DD gets married in 12 days!
