Baby, It's HOT Outside!
It was 100 degrees in the shade today. I took my Boston ferns down to give them a good drink and my kitty Bailey decided they would make a wonderful cool retreat from the blazing hot sun! I spy two little white legs and tail "peeking" out ;o)

Smart kitty, seeking shade!! :)

Your ferns look SO pretty! The two BIG ones I had last year died. Sigh. Mr. U bought me two more and I was SOOO excited... until two bird families decided to make a home in each of them. I haven't the heart to chase them away nor do I want to water the ferns for fear of killing the baby birds!!! Sigh...

So, enjoy your ferns for me!! :) I think they are so lovely and calming. :)

Mrs. U

How cute! I don't think I would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out!

Your ferns are lush and gorgeous! We've been spared triple digits all week, but they are headed our way again next week! I hope you have a respite from the heat soon.

Such pretty ferns, Susan! What a smart kitty to find a spot in the shade. We've been having lots of rain and cool weather, I wish I could send you some! :0)
