In Loving Memory

My beloved Grammy went home to be with the Lord this past week. She lived everyday of her 100 years of life in joyful celebration. She was a blessing and inspiration to all who knew her and was the finest example of what a Christian lady should be. Her funeral was a celebration of her life, and oh, what a life it was! Words could never properly express how grateful I am that God blessed me with Grammy. She was my teacher/mentor and my greatest inspiration.

As most of you know, my Grammy loved flowers. As friends and family were leaving the church, Miss Bonnie handed each one a beautiful long stem rose in loving memory of my Grammy. The following was poem attached:

The sweetest flower that grows
I give you as we part
To you it is a rose
To me it is my heart

The flower and poem were very sweet! I dried the rose from my grandmothers funeral. I think of grandma each time I see the rose.

While I very sad for your family, I am SOOOOO EXCITED for your Grammy!!! She is worshipping THE LORD!!!!!!!!!! She finally gets to see Jesus FACE TO FACE!!!! Oh that makes me SOOOO happy and excited and... oh I can't wait to go Home one day!!!!

And to be 100!!! Wow! That's my goal!!!
