A Basket Full Of Happiness &
A Heart Full Of Thanks!

The doorbell rang this afternoon and my heart did a little "leap!" Could it possibly be the special treasure I had been waiting for? I looked out the window and saw that it was the postman and I immediately started screaming to Miss Bonnie, "it's here, it's here!" My heart was pounding as I brought the package in and carefully placed in on the table. I told Miss Bonnie, "let's just sit here a minute and look at it!" Do you know how it is at Christmas and you are opening up wonderful gifts and you just want the moment to last? That's how I felt!

After much coaxing from my persistent daughter LOL, the package was opened. I very carefully brought out the treasures and with each one I squealed with delight! Sharon seemed to know all of my "favorite" things! My dear friend had gifted me with the most beautiful basket of goodies. Somehow I had been blessed with the great fortune of winning her Blogaversary Contest!

Sharon has such a generous spirit. She sent me a darling lined basket overflowing with "goodies!" There were some yummy smelling wax melts, a beautiful doily, sweet smelling sachet, a beautiful red tin heart for hanging, a Valentine "angel" and a girlfriend bookmark!! To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement! If you want to meet a most kind and gracious lady you can visit her at September Morn. She is in the process of decorating her new home and she is taking us all on her decorating "adventures!" Why don't you come along for the ride?!!

I love getting boxes in the mail. I have a friend who lives in WI (and I in OR) who I met thru her reading my husbands book. Long story short, we sent each other wonderful boxes full of goodies and surprises, quite often! Each box usually includes some kind of chocolate - LOL! Barb has become a wonderful friend.
