Preparing Our Hearts
Please join with me as we prepare our hearts to light the first candle of the Advent wreath this Sunday. The first candle (purple) is often called the prophet's candle, and it is meant to
represent the hope of Jesus' arrival. If you would like to learn more about Advent I highly recommend going over to Lindsey's at http://www.advent4evangelicals.blogspot.com/ because she has created a blog specifically for the Advent season.

My love to all,
Susan P.

We lit our first candle on Sunday. Our advent 'wreath' was a homemade affair but we had lots of fun and the children loved it :)

Hi Susan,
I'm here from Kelli's this morning. I've enjoyed my quick peek at your site! I'll be back to visit you and look around all your lovely things when I have a bit more time.
We lit the first advent candle at our family dinner last night...

Mrs. Blythe, ours was a "homemade" affair, too!! I was so happy because I went to a sale at Michaels and got everything for around eight dollars:) It took no time to put together!

Sue, welcome!! I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit:)
