The Christmas Card

My Christmas cards have all been done
But I know that I've forgotten someone.
Someone who is special and close in heart
The only thing is we live so far apart.

Their friendship is priceless and "oh so dear,"
And to think I've known them for less than a year!
Friends can be found in the most unlikely places
And to think that I've never even seen their faces!

Who is this friend that I'm talking about?
"Why, it's you dear one, without a doubt!"
With a click of a button and the touch of a key
Came the birth of a friendship that is so special to me.

Even though we probably will never meet
The gift of your friendship is still just as sweet!
That is why I wanted to take time to say
"Dear friend, I wish you a most blessed Christmas Day!"

What a very creative post! Thank you for the bloggy Christmas card and poem!

I just bought my cards yesterday and was able to get prints of the family at Costco...so now I have my work cut out for me this week to write special notes and get them in the mail this week. But it's always fun for me.
