Peanut Butter Cookies
After all my rainy day projects I thought I would bake up a treat! The house smells heavenly and the cookies are perfect to have with a cup of tea or dunk in a nice cold glass of milk! What a perfect treat for a rainy, damp day. These peanut butter cookies are so easy to make it's almost silly! LOL I got the recipe from my favorite cook, Paula Deen. Believe it or not these cookies don't even have flour in them!

Isn't Paula great! I have several favorite Food Network cooks: Barefoot Contessa, Giada, and of course, Rachel Ray! The cookies sound delicious!

Have you ever been to the Lady and Sons? We don't live too far from Savannah and I was excited to go with a friend a couple of years ago!

Is this the sugar, egg, peanut butter recipe? I love it too! When I taught home ec (18 years ago now) I would sometimes have restless 8th or 9th graders that needed a break from books. I'd adapt my lesson plans to include a lab where they made this recipe --- and happy, calm, and relaxed students left my classroom every time!

I wasn't keeping a blog then - and don't even have a picture of it because (I'm almost ashamed to say this) I had never heard of it before my friend wanted to go! Hope you can go someday!
