A Wonderful Way To Say
"God Loves You!"
One of my favorite Christian authors is Karla Dornacher. She is not only a wonderful author but a wonderful illustrator as well. One of my
favorite books of hers is: Love In Every Room.

She had a wonderful idea on her website http://www.karladornacher.com/KD%20Pages/AppleBaggieTopper.html.

I decided to put apple cider mix into my baggies. All I did was put in the apple cider mix, add a few cinnamon sticks, and then put the label that I printed from Karla Dornacher's site onto the top of the baggie! Easy, easy! I thought this would be a wonderful little project that you could do with your children. They can help make some goodies to put in the baggie ie, apple cookies, apple bread, apple muffins, apple candy, etc.. and then they could help decide who they want to deliver the bags to and then help with the actual delivery! What a wonderful way to spread God's love this Fall season. Who in your life that you know could use a little blessing? What are you waiting for?

You are really inspiring me to get out of my comfort zone and do something for people I don't know very well. The apple cidar giftbags are so cute! What a great idea! We just got some new neighbors last week and I will be sure to introduce myself.

Hi Susan,

I have that same book. I saw it several years ago in the grocery store and had to have it. I didn't know she had other books or a website. I have been visiting her website. She even has her address on there and says she loves to hear from people. Isn't that sweet? Her books are available signed by her. I think I will tell DH about those!
Love your teacup and the doily, the red rose and the pretty gold spoon. Have a wonderful fall weekend. It is so beautiful here. I love this season!

Susan, I have this exact same book, too, and love Karla Dornacher. I picked up "Down a Garden Path" (and that one is excellent if you like gardening) from Green Valley Book Fair for a cheap cheap price! Doesn't it seem so easy for her to produce a book?! I'd love to know how to be creative like that!
