The Biltmore House
The Biltmore House is known as the "largest home in America!" It is owned by the Vanderbilt Family and has a whopping 250 rooms! The grounds also contain beautiful gardens, stables, vineyard, and many other wonderful things to see and explore. They don't allow pictures to be taken on the inside so I just have a few pics of some of the other attractions.
This is a picture of Mr. P (my wonderful, handsome husband!) in the conservatory. He was putting his hand up next to the leaf to give an idea
of how large it was. The plants were just beautiful.

Outside picture of the conservatory. In the summer they have beautiful rose gardens and in the Fall they have Mums everywhere you look:)
Picture of some of the Mums. They weren't in full bloom yet.
Beautiful view from the veranda at the Biltmore House.
Pictures of part of the house. It was so large we couldn't get it in one shot! So, that's the end of the tour! I will end by saying that THE very best thing about the whole trip was the time I spent with my dear husband and the celebration of our marriage. What a blessing! God is so very good!

i think those plants are elephant ear! i have some in my back yard, they're a tender perennial, i think. mine are tiny, because i planted them so late.

Happy Anniversary! I enjoyed seeing your photos. My own dh lived in NC for ten years (before we met), and we plan to take a trip there together someday.
