I would go out and check everyday, there is NOTHING like that first vine-ripened tomato. It doesn't get much better than that!

g.l.h., We have never toasted our bread for the tomato sandwiches, as a matter of fact we try to get the freshest loaf of Wonder because the softer and "squishier" the bread, the more we like it!! LOL

Terri, we love Vidalla onions as well. Haven't tried them on tomato sandwiches!! Do you know that some people around here eat the Vidalla onion by itself, like they would an apple?? I don't think I would ever be able to do that!!YUK

Marie, you are being "bad" again!! LOL Trying to cause trouble!!! My Mama raised us on Hellmanns, "that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!" SHH, don't tell anybody around here that we don't use Dukes, I know it's a "no no!" I love it when you comment Marie, you always make me laugh!!Susan P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16123411088490778415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29559473.post-1152542937503469002006-07-10T10:48:00.000-04:002006-07-10T10:48:00.000-04:00What, not Duke's mayo?????
