Wednesday Welcome
Family Room

Welcome to my family room. My family room has my two favorite colors, yellow and blue. I don't know if you can tell by the pictures but this used to be two rooms, a very small formal living room and a very small family room. We knocked out the wall and made one large room because it worked better for our family, especially when our children were younger. **You know me and pictures. GRR This took forever and I had trouble lining up, etc. so the best thing to do is just "click" on each to enlarge.

Susan, your home is beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pics. I like all the little houses/bldgs in your cabinet. :) And I'm partial to those blues.

Susan, your family room is so cheerful and lovely. Yellow is just such a wonderful color to use!! Your grandfather clock is very similar to ours (ours was partially shown in my post on living things). No story behind that clock, eh? Hmmmm....there's always a story!! How many clocks do you have?? We have a handful with a history or story here. Maybe we should do dual posts!! ;-)

Kim, I'm glad you're back, I've missed you!!

deb, thanks so much! The houses are from the Dept.56 Dickens series. I think I will do a post on them at Christmas. Even in July I still light them just because they make me happy:)

Mrs. Linebarger(please see comment in the last post!!!!)

Clarice, ever since I was a little girl I wanted to live in a house with a fireplace and I finally got my wish when Mr. P installed this one!

You and I share the same favorite colors. :) Your livingroom and entryway are just beautiful!! I really like the flowers on the hearth and the matching ones by the front door. So pretty!
